If it is true, and it is, that we sleep to live, then dreaming is the deep-

est connection to the world. Because it is precisely when we put

the right distance between one day and the next that we establish

the best contact with ourselves and others. This is how the word

dreamer profoundly changes in meaning. We have been taught to

view dreamers with the suspicion owed to romantics, and yet no

one can keep his feet on the ground better than those who dream

and dream well. To dream means to look to the future with a mind

open to change. This is what Bolzan has always set out to do in its

long history as a sleep atelier: to make its targeted offer of beds

and other complements grow in quality, to tailor them to the spe-

cific needs of the public and to take them, when necessary, out

of the sleeping area, to connect those two halves of life that in no

other place like the home have to write a single script: ours. Bolzan’s
