3.4 POSITIONING OF THE EXTERNAL GRILLES

For installation of the external grilles, follow the steps below:

• Insert and secure the collar on the internal wall (Fig. 1)

• Fold the external grille in half and hook the chains onto the external grille. Then insert the folded grille into th

e

hole and slide it outwards (Fig. 2)

• Open the grille outside the hole and pull the chains so as to tension the springs (Fig. 3)

• Hook the chains onto the internal collar and, once

fi tted and secured, remove any excess (Fig. 4)

• Repeat the operation for the second air intake.

Before fixing the unit to the wall, the perimeter gasket must be glued onto the rear.

The gasket has an adhesive side.

• Starting from the bottom, apply the gasket around the entire perimeter of the uni

• Cut off any exces

• Glue the corners.

Incorrect installation of the gasket may cause increased noise levels.
