Marazzi Group ha ottenuto nel 2022, tra le prime
aziende al mondo, la Certificazione ISO 17889-1,
prima norma ISO in materia di sostenibilità nel
settore delle costruzioni a livello mondiale. La
norma, nata nel 2021, ha definito per la prima volta
un sistema per la valutazione della sostenibilità
dei prodotti utilizzando 38 criteri, qualitativi e
quantitativi, identificati e suddivisi secondo i tre
pilastri della sostenibilità: ambientale, sociale ed
economica, in cui ad essere analizzato è l’intero ciclo
di vita delle piastrelle di ceramica, dalla selezione
delle materie prime, alla produzione, distribuzione e
installazione, fino all’uso e alla gestione del fine vita
del prodotto, valutando anche parametri di sicurezza
dei lavoratori e dei consumatori. Il prestigioso
riconoscimento, rilasciato da Certiquality, dimostra
l’impegno dell’azienda nella tutela del patrimonio
naturale e delle persone, in linea con l’obiettivo 12
dell’agenda Onu.
Marazzi Group a été l'une des premières entreprises
au monde à obtenir en 2022 la certification ISO
17889-1, la première norme ISO en matière de
durabilité dans le secteur de la construction au
niveau mondial. Publiée en 2021, la norme définit
pour la première fois un système d'évaluation de
la durabilité des produits à l'aide de 38 critères,
tant qualitatifs que quantitatifs, identifiés et
classés en fonction des trois piliers de la durabilité
: environnemental, social et économique. Elle
analyse l'ensemble du cycle de vie des carreaux
céramiques, de la sélection des matières premières
à la production, la distribution et l'installation, en
passant par l'utilisation et la gestion de la fin de vie
du produit, en évaluant également les paramètres
de sécurité des travailleurs et des consommateurs.
Ce label prestigieux, décerné par Certiquality,
témoigne de l'engagement de l'entreprise à protéger
le patrimoine naturel et humain, conformément à
l'objectif 12 de l'agenda des Nations unies.
In 2022 Marazzi Group became one of the first
companies worldwide to achieve Certification under
ISO 17889-1, the world’s first ISO sustainability
standard for the construction industry. The standard,
launched in 2021, established the first system for
assessing products’ sustainability using 38 quality
and quantity criteria, identified and subdivided in
accordance with the three fundamental areas of
sustainability: environmental, social and economic.
It analyses ceramic tiles’ entire lifecycle, from
raw material selection to production, distribution
and installation, through to use and end-of-life
management, also assessing worker and consumer
safety criteria. This coveted accolade, issued by
Certiquality, reflects the company’s commitment to
safeguarding the natural heritage and people, in line
with goal 12 of the UN Agenda.
En 2022 Marazzi Group ha sido una de las primeras
empresas del mundo entero en obtener la Certificación
ISO 17889-1, primera norma ISO en materia de
sostenibilidad dentro del ramo de la construcción en el
ámbito internacional. La norma, promulgada en 2021,
definió por primera vez un sistema de evaluación de
la sostenibilidad de los productos aplicando treinta y
ocho criterios, cualitativos y cuantitativos, identificados
y subdivididos basándose en las tres columnas de la
sostenibilidad, la ambiental, la social y la económica,
de acuerdo con la cual lo que se analiza es el ciclo
de vida de los azulejos de cerámica en su conjunto,
desde la selección de las materias primas, hasta la
fabricación, distribución e instalación, y hasta el uso y
la gestión del final de la vida del producto, evaluando
asimismo parámetros de seguridad de los trabajadores
y los consumidores. El prestigioso reconocimiento,
emitido por Certiquality, da prueba del compromiso de
la empresa en pro de la salvaguardia del patrimonio
natural y de las personas, en cumplimiento del objetivo
número doce de la agenda de la ONU.

Unternehmen weltweit die Zertifizierung nach ISO
17889-1, der ersten ISO-Norm für Nachhaltigkeit
in der internationalen Baubranche. Die 2021
entstandene Norm legt erstmals ein System für
die Nachhaltigkeitsbewertung von Produkten
anhand von 38 qualitativen und quantitativen
Kriterien fest, die nach den drei Grundpfeilern
für Nachhaltigkeit – Umwelt, Gesellschaft und
Wirtschaft – gegliedert sind und den gesamten
Lebenszyklus der keramischen Fliese, von der
Auswahl der Rohstoffe über die Produktion, den
Vertrieb und den Einbau bis hin zum End-of-
Life-Management des Produkts einschließlich
der Sicherheitsparameter für Mitarbeiter und
Verbraucher beurteilt. Die hochwertige Anerkennung,
ausgestellt von Certiquality, belegt das Engagement
des Unternehmens zum Schutz der Natur und des
Menschen im Einklang mit SDG 12 der UNO-Agenda.
