TERRE est la nouvelle création
conçue par Sebastian Herkner
pour Tubes: le premier radiateur
électrique en Terre cuite
d’Impruneta. Un objet inédit,
qui puise dans la tradition
artisanale d’un matériau
ancien pour le projeter dans
un territoire nouveau. L’argile
toscane — issue des terres du
Chianti, riches en galestro — est
extrudée puis associée à une
âme en aluminium produite à
Resana grâce au savoir-faire de
l’entreprise. Deux territoires,
deux matériaux qui collaborent
en parfaite harmonie. La Terre
cuite conserve les traces du
processus de modelage.
Les légères imperfections de
surface témoignent de la
nature vivante du matériau
et de l’unicité de chaque
pièce: un objet plus proche
d’une sculpture que d’un
produit industriel.
