Literature, art and poetry – which become emotion – have constructed

an imaginary and fantastical world around mirrors, the enticing

threshold of the unconscious.

it is that which is beyond the bright and dazzling – as well as liquid –

silvery surface in which our visage is revealed. Through the mirror we ask

questions about our identity, and prepare to put on the mask that will

conceal our ‘feeling’ on the street and in our encounters with others.

With the same evanescent and impalpable material, glass, with all its

colors, glints, and transparencies, SiciS makes homage to the ‘wonder

of doubles’. The mosaic tiles, like fragments of dreams, are composed

in exquisite color combinations and decorations, marking the boundary

between here and the beyond. But SiciS also moves toward new and

unusual expressive possibilities, designing ‘thresholds’ – or if you prefer,

frames – in noble leather, in decorative paper, in modern plexiglass, in

sumptuous prized wood...Thus the mirror is adorned in beauty. it allures
