product to ensure that the connection size required is available.

Screwed strainers

How to use: For a given flowrate extend a horizontal line until it intersects with the diagonal that represents the strainer size and material.

Drop a vertical line from this point until it reaches the pressure drop axis. This figure indicates the pressure drop in bar, e.g. 9 000 kg / h of

water passing through a 11⁄2" Fig 14 with standard screen would have a pressure drop of 0.047 bar.
