.

MAINTENANCE: As needed, the floor should be maintained by always using CERA D

W

SOLVENTE -DECERANTE

a

i

fatichino ad agire

.

a

strofinare energicamente con monospazzola o spugnette abrasive e rimuovere

i

residui con aspira liquidi o panni NON COLORATI. Ripetere lo stesso procedimento dov

e

risultassero aloni o zone non completamente decerate

.

SOLV-ACID is a two-component product based on acid and solvent. It is recommende

d

for use on glazed floors for the removal of synthetic grout residues left on the til

e

surface in cases where DISI-KAL or similar products struggle to act

.

Before use, it is advisable to wet the joints thoroughly so as not to ruin them, and to

treatments and proceed to a new waxing.

DECERANT should be spread pure over small portions at a time of the surface fro

m

which the old treatment is to be removed, and immediately scrub vigorously with

a monobrush or abrasive sponges and remove the residue with liquid vacuums o

r

NON-COLOURED cloths. Repeat the same procedure where halos or areas that are not

completely de-waxed result.

PULIZIA E LAVAGGI

tto possa

essere macchiata da vernici, resine, calcinacci ecc. La cura e la premur

a

,

meglio, con bidone aspiraliquidi

.

Qualora si presentino strisce o macchie nere, usare soluzione alcalina

.

TRATTAMENT

O

Interni: per il trattamento del Co

tto Arrotato Naturale e Presild, si consiglia.

a pavimentazione completamente asciutta

e pulita, la stesura di un pro

do

tto idro-alco-repellente a base acqua e relativo impregnante eseguito a

regola d’arte da personale specializzato. Indi, per la finitura, procedere co

n

tto a base acqua.

%

con acqua. Il Co

tto Cerato Blitz viene fornito già pre-cerato nelle scatole.

o

di prodo

tto idro-oleo-repellente a base d’acqua eseguito a regola d’arte da

personale specializzato.

a

-

diatamente con acqua pura

.

In caso di versamento accidentale di sostanze macchianti, procedere all

a

pulizia nel più breve tempo possibile. L’operazione deve essere eseguita

tamponando la zona interessata. In questo modo si evita lo spargimento

della sostanza versata e l’assorbimento forzato. Pulire quindi con acqua

e

-

o-repellente la cui stesura deve essere e

ffettuata a regola d’arte da perso

-

nale specializzato.

Come manutenzione, di tanto in tanto stendere secondo necessità all’ester-

no olio paglierino e all’interno un leggero strato di CERA DW88 diluita.

CONTESTAZION

I

tanto prese in considerazione contestazioni relative a materiale posto i

CLEANING AND WASHING

Terracotta tiles should be laid after all masonry work, painting of ceilings

,

etc, has been completed, in order to avoid the Terraco

tta surface being

marked by paint, resin, plaster, etc.. Care and a

ttention taken during this

initial stage, which is particularly delicate, will be rewarded later in the

cleaning and treatment stages. If pedestrian traffic on the

floor is una-

voidable, protect it with a layer of sand (NEVER USE NYLON SHEETING O

R

PLASTIC-COATED PAPER), placing neutral cardboard on top of the sand if

necessary. The floor should only be washed a certain period of time after

laying, once it is completely dry. Clean the floor with a 50/50 acid solu-

tion (water with 50% DISICAL). Cleaning must be carried out using nylon

brushes or, be

tter still, a single brush. After cleaning, wash the floor gen-

tly with water, then remove all water with cloths, sponges, sawdust or

,

be

tter still, a suction

floor cleaner.

Use an alkaline solution in case any black streaks or stains should arise

.

TREATMEN

T

Interiors: for Co

tto Arrotato Naturale and Presild (the Cotto Cerato Blit

z

is already waxed). When the

floor is completely dry and clean, carry out

the finish treatment using a water-based, natural shine liquid wax fo

r

terraco

tta. Carefully apply a thin, uniform layer of the product: dilute the

product with 50% water

.

In alternative to wax, have a thin layer of a water-based water and oil

repellent product applied by a qualified person

.

Exteriors: the

floor requires no particular treatment. To protect you

r

floor against staining, have a thin layer of water-based oil/ water repel-

lent product applied by qualified persons, in accordance to the rules of

the trade. As an alternative you can use oil for wood, to be applied with

a nylon brush or paintbrush. This treatment should be preferably done i

n

warm weather conditions. Spread enough oil to be totally absorbed by th

e

floor. These treatments impart excellent frost-resistance properties an

d

also enhance the beauty of the Co

tto floor.

USE AND MAINTENANC

E

Terracotta should be cleaned using a damp cloth. Heavy soiling caused by

increased pedestrian traffic, dinners and parties, plus black streaks left

by heels, etc., can be cleaned using a sponge and a little detergent, takin

g

care to rinse immediately afterwards with clean water.

In the event of accidental spillage of staining substances, clean the floor

as soon as possible, and in any case within 12 hours. To clean spillages,

dab the a

ffected area to remove all traces of the spilled substance. Thi

s

will avoid spreading the spilled substance further and prevent it from

being absorbed. Finally, wash with water and a common

floor detergent.

Depending on the type of usage of the

floor, the

finish can be restored b

y

applying wax or a water and oil repellent product. This treatment must b

e

carried out by a qualified person

.

As for maintenance, every now and again, as and when needed, in exte

-

riors apply straw-yellow oil (olio paglierino) and in interiors apply a light

coat of DW88 WAX, diluted.

CLAIM

S

Be advised that in accordance with regulations in force, any objections

must be raised prior to installation of the materials. Accordingly, objec-

tions raised pertaining to materials that have already been laid shall no

t

be taken into consideration
