MATERIAL

In the Colombian province of Tolima there are small,

family-run, traditional potteries. Here they dig the

holes from which the distinctive clay is extracted,

whether red or black, and formed by hand – the only

tools used being empty corn cobs! Here it is fired

and polished.

With them we have created a range of vases, bowls

occasional tables and pots that can also be used

as plant containers.

In der Provinz Tolima gibt es viele kleine, traditionell

familiengeführte Töpfereien. In Eigenarbeit holen sie

hier den roten oder schwarzen Ton aus Erdlöchern

und töpfern, brennen und polieren ihre Objekte.

Gemeinsam mit ihnen haben wir Vasen, Schalen,

Beistelltische und Töpfe, die auch als Blumentöpfe

verwendbar sind, entworfen.
