In cooperation with the development centre and laboratories of Roca Sanitario, two assembly lines for the
production of faucets were put into operation in Znojmo in 2011. Thus, LAUFEN CZ has signi
ficantly expanded its
range of bathroom equipment made by its own production. The beginnings of bathroom
fixture production in the
family firm Roca of Spain date back to the 1950s. Roca faucets, currently ranking among the highest-quality and most
demanded products in this market segment, feature a number of patented technologies and are exported worldwide.
The means of production in the Znojmo plant include semi-automatic lines for faucet assembly, with a capacity of up to
220,000. The assembly of each piece is subject to the most stringent quality checks, starting with the proper inspection of
components prior to the manufacturing process. The production process always includes laser engraving of the JIKA logo
on faucet handles and hand showers.
The quality control department performs inspections of all component deliveries by means of the most up-to-date tools,
such as the X-Ray Fischerscope to measure the thickness of individual layers of galvanized surfaces and to determine the
composition of faucet body base material; a profile projector to measure the details of the tiniest components; various
gauges; and last but not least, a salt-spray cabinet to simulate extreme conditions for materials being used. Each faucet is
checked by means of an air-testing device; in addition, randomly selected samples are subject to the water test. The
quality of our products is indisputable, which is why an extended warranty is provided for most of them.
