PRODOTTO
FuoriFormato è un prodotto realizzato in seconda
cottura e sinterizzato ad una temperatura > 850°

Rivestimenti e pavimenti: residenziale e
commerciale. Pareti continue e pareti ventilate
(previa applicazione di fibra di vetro).
IMBALLI
Le lastre FuoriFormato vengono imballate con
cura con interfalda di cartone in casse di legno
sovrapponibili studiate per assicurare l’integrità del
prodotto e per garantire ogni tipo di distribuzione,
compresa quella oltremare.
MOVIMENTAZIONE
Con carrelli elevatori o gru di cantiere: inforcare
l’imballo al centro dal lato lungo allargando
al massimo le forche che devono fare presa su tutta la
profondità del pallet.
Nel caso in cui s'inforcasse il pallet dal lato corto, le
forche devono necessariamente avere una lunghezza
minima di 250 cm.
Dislocare l’imballo nei pressi della zona di lavoro e,
una volta aperto il vassoio, sollevare la lastra per il
lato lungo portandola in posizione verticale.
Movimentare la lastra con l’ausilio di almeno una
seconda persona evitando flessioni e mantenendola
in posizione ortogonale rispetto al suolo.
Appoggiare con delicatezza la lastra sul lato lungo e,
in attesa dell’applicazione, sistemarla su materiale
soffice sopra listelli di legno debitamente distanziati
tra loro o paraspigoli di plastica.
Per facilitare la movimentazione e la posa a parete
delle lastre, specie se indebolite da lavorazioni
quali fori o tagli, si consiglia di utilizzare gli appositi
strumenti a ventosa assicurandosi preventivamente
che le ventose aderiscano perfettamente alla lastra.
Le lastre possono essere stoccate in posizione sia
orizzontale che verticale. Per quanto riguarda la
posizione verticale è necessario appoggiare su legno
la lastra per il lato lungo.
FORATURA
Le lastre FuoriFormato possono essere forate -
dal fronte verso il retro della lastra - mediante
l’utilizzo di strumenti diamantati, a secco o ad acqua,
abitualmente usati per la lavorazione del vetro e del
gres porcellanato.

Walls and Floors: residential and commercial. Continuous
walls and ventilated walls (with fibreglass application on
the rear).
PACKING
FuoriFormato slabs are carefully packed with cardoboard
separations in stackable wooden boxes designed to
ensure the integrity of the product and to guarantee all
types of distribution, including overseas.
HANDLING
With forklifts or construction cranes: pick up the packing
at the centre of the long side, fully extending the forks to
take up the entire depth of the pallet.
If the forks are inserted in the pallet at the short side,
these must necessarily have a minimum length of
250 cm.
Place the packaging in the vicinity of the working area
and, once the tray is opened, lift the slab by the long side
placing it in the vertical position.
Move the slab with the assistance of at least one other
person, avoiding bending and keeping it in a position
orthogonal to the ground.
When waiting for application, gently lay the slab on its
long side and place it on soft material, over strips of wood
that are suitably distanced from one another or with
plastic edges.
To easier moving the slabs and to ease use on vertical
surfaces - especially when they are fragile due to the
holes or openings - we recommend using frameworks with
suckers always checking that the suckers are properly
attached.
The slabs can be stocked both in upright or horizontal
position. Concerning the vertical position: it is important
to put the slab horizontally on small piece of wood.
DRILLING
FuoriFormato slabs can be drilled - from the front to the
back of the slab - by using dry or wet diamond tools,
usually used for the processing of glass and porcelain
stoneware.
Prima di procedere è necessario procurarsi un piano
di lavoro pulito e planare.
Le tazze/frese circolari e i dischi diamantati da
impiegare su smerigliatrici elettriche devono essere a
fascia continua e in buono stato.
Una volta forate, le lastre vanno maneggiate e
movimentate con maggiore cura.
È consigliabile raffreddare ad acqua il punto d'attacco
e gli utensili a circa metà del taglio e ogni qualvolta se
ne senta l'esigenza.
Per la realizzazione di fori dal diametro inferiore ai
10 mm, utilizzare punte da vetro o gres porcellanato
al tungsteno o diamantate montate su trapani
elettrici. Escludere la modalità a percussione
e iniziare la foratura con una bassa velocità di
rotazione.
Per la realizzazione di fori dal diametro superiore ai
10 mm utilizzare frese a tazza diamantate, montate
su trapani o flessibili. Iniziare la foratura mantenendo
lo strumento inclinato rispetto alla lastra.
TAGLIO
Le lastre FuoriFormato possono essere tagliate dal
fronte verso il retro della lastra - mediante l'uso di
taglia piastrelle manuali, taglia vetro, tagliatrici a
disco elettriche e smerigliatrici manuali. L'utilizzo
di dispositivi manuali (velocemente installabili in
cantiere) permette di eseguire con facilità e con
precisione tagli base.
Nel caso si desiderasse ottenere tagli o forme
particolari si suggerisce di utilizzare sistemi a
idrogetto o i banchi di taglio abitualmente in uso
presso vetrai e marmisti.
Procedere con l'incisione della superficie della lastra
da bordo a bordo senza mai staccare la lama dall’asse
d’incisione, senza mai interrompere o riprendere
il taglio ed esercitando una pressione continua e
uniforme.
La superficie incisa deve essere troncata ai bordi
al fine di agevolare la frattura in corrispondenza
del taglio. Per tagli superiori ai 1.000 mm aprire il
taglio con pinze apposite effettuando uno spacco da
entrambi i bordi incisi.
Per tagli sul lato lungo posizionare la lastra su di un
piano stabile e planare fissando sulla superficie da
incidere una comune staggia di alluminio. Una volta
inciso il materiale, esercitare una leggera pressione
verso il basso fino ad ultimare lo spacco.
POSA A RIVESTIMENTO
PARETI INTERNE
Assicurarsi che il fondo sia planare, senza crepe,
stabile e che abbia terminato il normale ritiro
igrometrico. Posa su rivestimento preesistente: prima
di eseguire la posa accertarsi che il rivestimento sia
solido, ancorato alla parete e senza parti asportabili.
Before proceeding ensure that the working surface is
clean and planar.
Circular discs / blades and diamond discs to be used on
electric grinders must be continuous band and in good
condition.
Once drilled, the slabs must be moved and handled with
great care.
It is advisable that the attachment point and the tools
are cooled at approximately half way through the cut and
whenever you feel necessary.
When drilling holes with a diameter of less than
10 mm, use glass tips or tungsten or diamond tips
mounted on electric drills for porcelain stoneware .
Exclude percussion mode and start drilling at low rotation
speed.
When making holes of diameters greater than 10 mm,
use diamond drill bits, mounted on drills or grinders.
Begin drilling keeping the tool tilted against the slab.
CUT
The FuoriFormato slabs can be cut - from the front to the
back of the slab - using manual tile cutters, glass cutters,
electric disc cutting machines and manual grinders.
The use of hand-held devices (easily installed on site)
makes performing basic cuts easy and accurate.
If special cuts or shapes are required, the use of waterjet
systems or cutting boards that are usually used by
glassmakers and marmistsis recommended.
Proceed with the incision of the slab surface from the
edge without ever removing the blade from the incision
axis, never interrupting or resuming the cutting and
exerting continuous and uniform pressure.
The incised surface should be trimmed to the edges in
order to facilitate the fracture at the cut. For cuts over
1.000 mm, open the cut with special pliers by making a
splice on both incised edges.
For cuts on the long side, position the slab on a stable
and planar level fixing a common aluminium foil on the
surface to be incised. After incising the material, apply a
slight downward pressure to achieve the split.
LAYING CLADDING
INTERIOR WALLS
Make sure the bottom is flat, without cracks, stable and
has completed the normal hygrometric retraction.
Laying on pre-existing cladding: before laying, ensure that
the cladding is solid, anchored to the wall and without
removable parts.
