Certificazione GREENGUARD: assicura che i prodotti destinati all’uso in ambienti interni siano caratterizzati

dalla pressoché inesistente emissione di sostanze volatili, contribuendo alla creazione di ambienti più salutari. La

GREENGUARD Gold Certification prende in considerazione fattori di sicurezza che tengono conto di soggetti sensibili

(come i bambini e gli anziani) e assicura che l’impiego di un prodotto sia accettabile in ambienti come scuole e

strutture sanitarie. Tale certificazione è ampiamente riconosciuta e accettata dai programmi di edilizia sostenibile e

dai regolamenti edilizi in tutto il mondo. Negli Stati Uniti, essa viene presa come riferimento dei sistemi di valutazione

degli edifici CHPS (The Collaborative for High Performance Schools) e LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental

Design).

EPD (Environmental Product Declaration): dichiarazione ambientale di prodotto di tipo III effettuata su base

volontaria, che si basa sull’analisi del ciclo di vita del prodotto (secondo l’approccio “dalla culla al cancello”) in accordo

alla norma EN 15804. La presente dichiarazione viene redatta facendo riferimento alle linee guida delle norme UNI EN

ISO 14040 e alle regole specifiche per la categoria di prodotto PCR (Product Category Rules). Tale documento descrive

gli impatti ambientali legati alla produzione di una specifica quantità di prodotto delle diverse fasi, dall’estrazione delle

materie prime, al trasporto, fino alla fase produttiva vera e propria. La nostra Azienda è stata la prima a certificare i

propri prodotti in 6 mm e 10 mm (vedi www.environdec.com) con una EPD specifica di prodotto, convalidata da un

Ente terzo indipendente.

Certificazione LEED: già diffusa ed attiva in oltre 40 Paesi, il sistema di certificazione Leed (Leadership in Energy

and Environmental Design) valuta ed attesta la sostenibilità ambientale, sociale ed economica degli edifici considerati

nel loro complesso. Secondo i criteri di classificazione LEED, i materiali da costruzione con elevata ecosostenibilità

contribuiscono all’ottenimento dei crediti elevando il punteggio dell’edificio. Si certifica che tutte le lastre presentate

in questo strumento contengono una percentuale di materiale riciclato superiore al 40% in accordo alla norma ISO

14021, garantendo quindi i più alti punteggi secondo il sistema LEED.

Cradle To Cradle: le superfici MAXIMUM sono inoltre Cradle to Cradle Certified® a livello Silver (elenco dei prodotti

certificati disponibile sul sito c2ccertified.org ).

GREENGUARD Certification ensures that products intended for indoor use are characterised by practically

nonexistent emissions of volatile substances, contributing to the creation of healthier environments. GREENGUARD

Gold Certification considers safety factors to account for sensitive individuals (such as children and the elderly), and

ensures that a product is acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities. This certification

is widely recognised and accepted by sustainable building programmes and housing regulations worldwide. In the

United States, it is referenced by The Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) and the Leadership in Energy

and Environmental Design (LEED) building rating systems.

EPD (Environmental Product Declaration): a voluntary type III product declaration, based on analysis of the

product life cycle (with a “from cradle to gate” approach) in accordance with the EN 15804 standard. This declaration

is drawn up with reference to the guidelines of the UNI EN ISO 14040 standard and the specific PCR (Product Category

Rules). This document describes the environmental impact linked to the production of a specific quantity of product

in its various stages, from extraction of the raw material and transport to the production phase proper. Our Company

was the first to certify its products in 6 mm and 10 mm (see www.environdec.com) with specific EPDs, validated by

an independent third-party Body.

LEED Certification: already widespread and active in more than 40 countries, the LEED (Leadership in Energy

and Environmental Design) certification system assesses and attests to the environmental, social and economic

sustainability of buildings considered as a whole. According to the LEED classification criteria, highly environmentally

sustainable construction materials contribute to achieving credits and increasing the points for the building. All the slabs

presented in this instrument are certified to contain percentage of recycled material higher than 40% in accordance

with the ISO 14021 standard, thus guaranteeing the highest points according to the LEED system.

Cradle To Cradle: in addition, the MAXIMUM surfaces are Cradle to Cradle Certified® at the Silver level (the list of
