Design & Impact Considerations

Since we opened our doors in 2010, our intent has been

to deliver a curated collection of purposeful designs,

which have been made to last. With it, we celebrate the

culture of bonding with timeless, reliable pieces, reclaiming

them in different contexts throughout your life, caring for

them as they age - passing them down through generations.

Reducing our impact is tightly woven into our decision

making. During the design process, we evaluate the product

characteristics through a number of considerations - its

purpose, materials that best support the design, circularity

as well as our responsibility towards the environment

we work within.

We set ambitious goals in line with circularity principles

for our upcoming collections. We look towards partnerships

as well as established certifications such as the EU Ecolabel

for guidance.

With respect to our production, all of our suppliers have

signed a strict code of conduct. This code of conduct

covers a ban on child and forced labour, health and safety

measures such as access to protective equipment, freedom

of association and an anti-discrimination policy,

proper disciplinary practices, legal amount of working

hours, living wages, and fair compensation. We hold audits,

make correctional plans and are ready to take immediate

action in case of nonconformance.
