Zum diesjährigen Jubiläum führt e15 seine Auseinandersetzung

mit weiteren Entwürfen von Protagonisten der Moderne fort.

Basierend auf der ursprünglichen Idee, reduzierte und radikale

Möbel zu pro-duzieren, bietet e15 heute eine beachtenswerte

Kollektion originärer Produkte an, geprägt von Progressivität,

Qualität, Materialreinheit, Nachhaltigkeit und Charme.

Im Laufe der Jahre hat e15 seinen Ruf als eine der führenden

Möbelmarken Europas, die für ikonisches Design bekannt ist,

konsequent ausgebaut. Ökologische Nachhaltigkeit, hochwertige

Materialien und eine handgefertigte europäische Produktion

definieren die Marke. In Zusammenarbeit mit ausgewählten

Designern, Architekten und Künstlern, verfolgt der Architekt und

e15-Mitbegründer Philipp Mainzer, zusammen mit Designerin und

Artdirektorin Farah Ebrahimi einen intelligenten und langfristigen

Ansatz für die Entwicklung der Möbelkollektion sowie der

Architekturprojekte.

Benannt nach der Postleitzahl des ersten Studios in London,

wurde e15 im Jahr 1995 gegründet. Eine radikale, neue Einfachheit

zeichnete das Debüt der ersten Kollektion aus, die die Entwicklung

modernen Designs wesentlich beeinflusste. Mit reduzierten Formen,

die alle natürlichen Merkmale des Materials bewusst offen legen

und unterstreichen, schuf e15 für sich einen Ruf als Vorreiter im

Gebrauch von Massivholz in seiner reinsten Form. Diese Formen-

sprache ist an den Designklassikern, dem Tisch BIGFOOT TM und

dem Hocker BACKENZAHNTM, erkennbar.

e15 ist stolz darauf, in diesem Jahr, Produkte aus dem Werk von

Richard Herre vorzustellen. Der sehr produktive deutsche Architekt,

Innenarchitekt, Grafiker und Autor wurde erst kürzlich als wichtiger

Vertreter der Neuen Sachlichkeit der 1920er Jahre und einfluss-

reiche Figur des Deutschen Werkbund in Stuttgart wiederentdeckt.

Darüber hinaus präsentiert e15 Weiterentwicklungen der bestehen-

den Kollektion und eine neue Material- und Farbpalette, die die

Haltung der Marke kommuniziert. e15 freut sich außerdem, eine

umfassende Auswahl an neuen Stoffen von Kvadrat / Raf Simons

in die Kollektion aufzunehmen.

In der kommenden Saison wird e15 weitere Ergebnisse neuer Ko-

operationen und Arbeiten mit Künstlern und Architekten vorstellen.

Während die aktuellen globalen Entwicklungen unsere Lebens-

und Arbeitswelt weiter verändern werden, freuen wir uns auf einen

e15 marks its anniversary and continues its incorporation of designs

by protagonists of Modernism. Founded on simple and radical ideas

for furniture, today e15 showcases an exceptional collection of original

products that illustrate a progressive identity infused with quality,

pure use of materials, sustainability and charm.

Over the years, e15 has consistently built on its reputation as one

of Europe’s leading furniture brands renowned for iconic designs

committed to environmental sustainability, high grade materials and

hand crafted European production defining every aspect of the brand.

Working closely with a network of artists and creative industry

leaders, e15 co-founder and architect Philipp Mainzer together with

designer and art director Farah Ebrahimi take an intelligent, long-

term approach to the development of their collection of furniture

and architectural projects.

Named after the postal code of its first workshop in London, the

company was founded in 1995. A radical, new simplicity marked the

debut of the collection, leaving an indelible mark for the company

and the history of modern design. With essential forms, baring all

natural markings and characteristics as visible in design classics

such as the table BIGFOOTTM and the stool BACKENZAHNTM, e15

has established a leading reputation for the pioneering use of solid-

wood in its purest form.

This year, e15 is proud to introduce the prolific work of Richard Herre.

The German architect, interior designer, graphic artist, and author has

only recently been rediscovered as an important representative of

the New Objectivity of the 1920’s and influential figure in the German

Werkbund in Stuttgart. e15 also presents further developments to the

existing collection with a new palette of materials and colours that

communicate our state of mind. Furthermore, e15 is pleased to intro-

duce a comprehensive range of new textiles by Kvadrat / Raf Simons

to the collection.

During the upcoming seasons, e15 will be pleased to debut the

result of new collaborations and works by artists and architects.

As the current global developments continue to alter our life and

work procedure, e15 looks forward to an inspiring and measured

chapter for our industry with more focus on meaningful, sustain-

able and enduring products.
