Se c’era una cosa dell’università che spaventava Valentina,

era condividere la casa con degli sconosciuti; soprattutto

gli spazi intimi, come il bagno. Ma è stata fortunata: ha

incontrato tre ragazze della sua età pronte a collaborare

e una casa perfetta, dotata di un piccolo e curato bagno

lavanderia per gestire le pulizie.

Ci pensa mentre guarda Sofia che apre tutti gli sportelli.

Sofia è disordinata ma si dà da fare. “Posso fare la lavatrice

al volo? Che poi torno a studiare”, chiede Valentina. “Hai

visto il detersivo per i pavimenti? L’avevo messo qui”,

risponde Sofia, “Comunque sì, fai! fai! C’entriamo tutt’e

due”.

Valentina si avvicina e in un attimo tira fuori il detersivo

dallo sportello. “Ce l’avevi davanti agli occhi! Sempre

così, tu. Cosa faresti senza di me?”.

If there was one thing about university that scared

Valentina, it was sharing a house with strangers;

especially intimate spaces, such as the bathroom. But she

was lucky: she met three girls her age ready to collaborate

and a perfect house, equipped with a small and well-kept

laundry bathroom to manage the cleaning.

She thinks about it as she watches Sofia open all the

doors. Sofia is messy but she works hard. “Can I do

the washing machine on the fly? Then I’ll go back to

studying,” asks Valentina. “Have you seen the floor

cleaner? I put it here”, replies Sofia, “Anyway, yes, do it!

you do! We both fit in here.”

Valentina approaches and in an instant takes the

detergent out of the door. “You had it right before your

eyes! Always like this, you. What would you do without

me?”.
