UND AUSZEICHNUNGEN

Die GESCHICHTE von Caleido entstand aus

einer avantgardistischen Intuition: die Wahl

eines kreativen Ansatzes, der sich an Kunst

und Skulptur orientiert, um Heizkörper und

Handtuchwärmer mit einem neuen Konzept

zu entwerfen. Seit 2004 hat sich Caleido

entschieden, einige der besten Designer und

Architekten der Welt in diese Forschung

einzubeziehen. Von James Di Marco, der damals

noch ein Anfänger war, aber bereits in der Lage,

Modelle mit einem raffinierten Design und

voller Persönlichkeit zu schaffen, wie River,

Stone und Air, die noch heute im Caleido-

Katalog zu finden sind und geschätzt werden,

über die Zusammenarbeit mit Karim Rashid

im Jahr 2011, mit der Kreation des Caleido-

Kunstheizkörpers, bei dem die Oberfläche des

Heizkörpers zur Leinwand eines Gemäldes

wird, bis hin zur Zusammenarbeit mit Giuseppe

Bavuso, der 2017 das Extrusionsverfahren

einführte und damit neue Designwege

eröffnete. Das Ergebnis ist eine exponentielle

Vervielfachung der ästhetischen Möglichkeiten,

sowohl hinsichtlich der Formen als auch der

Abmessungen. Es folgten mit großem Erfolg

Alessandro Canepa und Francesco Lucchese

bis hin zu den jüngsten, außergewöhnlichen

Kooperationen, zum Beispiel mit Marco Piva,

der zweimal den renommierten if Design

Award gewann, zuerst mit Book und dann mit

Parenthesis, der auch in den Adi Design Index

2022 aufgenommen wurde. Die reichhaltige

Liste wird fortgesetzt durch Jean-Michel

Wilmotte, Schöpfer von Raysun und Traccia

und Träger einer stark inspirierenden und

internationalen ästhetischen Dimension,

und Gabriele und Oscar Buratti, Autoren von

Bestsellern wie 100 Righe 1000 Righe und von

skulpturalen Heizkörpern wie Ottolungo,

Gewinner des Archiproducts Design Award

2021, der 2022 von einem anderen Caleido-

Produkt gewonnen wurde: Brasilia di Massimo

Iosa Ghini.

La HISTORIA de Caleido nació de una intuición

vanguardista: elegir un enfoque creativo

inspirado en el arte y la escultura para diseñar

radiadores y radiadores toalleros con un nuevo

concepto.

Desde 2004, Caleido ha optado por implicar

en esta investigación a algunos de los mejores

diseñadores y arquitectos del mundo. Desde

James Di Marco, el primero y entonces un

principiante, pero ya capaz de crear modelos

con un diseño depurado y lleno de personalidad

como River, Stone y Air, aún presentes y

apreciados hoy en el catálogo de Caleido,

pasando por el trabajo con Karim Rashid en

2011, con la creación del radiador Caleido,

donde la superficie del radiador se convierte en

el lienzo de un cuadro, hasta la colaboración

con Giuseppe Bavuso que, en 2017, introdujo

el proceso de extrusión, abriendo nuevas vías

de diseño. El resultado es una multiplicación

exponencial de las posibilidades estéticas, tanto

en términos de formas como de tamaños.

Le siguieron con gran éxito Alessandro Canepa

y Francesco Lucchese hasta las más recientes y

extraordinarias colaboraciones con, por ejemplo,

Marco Piva, que ganó dos veces el prestigioso

premio if Design Award, primero con Book y

después con Parenthesis, que también entró en

el Adi Design Index 2022. Siguiendo con el rico

elenco de colaboradores, encontramos a Jean-

Michel Wilmotte, autor de Raysun y Traccia y

Caleido’s STORY was sparked by an avant-garde

idea: to choose a creative approach inspired by

art and sculpture to design radiators and towel

warmers of new conception.

Since 2004, Caleido has chosen to involve some

of the world’s best designers and architects in

this research. From the first, James Di Marco,

then just starting out but already capable of

creating models with a refined design and

rich in personality such as River, Stone and

Air, still present and appreciated today in

the Caleido catalogue, to the work done with

Karim Rashid in 2011, with the creation of the

Caleido art radiators, where the surface of the

radiator becomes the canvas of a painting,

and collaboration with Giuseppe Bavuso who,

in 2017, introduced the extrusion process,

opening up new design avenues. The result

is an exponential multiplication of aesthetic

possibilities, both in terms of shapes and

dimensions. This was followed with great

success by Alessandro Canepa and Francesco

Lucchese up to the most recent, extraordinary

partnerships with, for example, Marco Piva,

twice winner of the prestigious if Design Award,

first with Book and then with Parenthesis,

which in 2022 was included in the Adi Design

Index. Also to be found on this exhaustive list

is Jean-Michel Wilmotte, author of Raysun and

Traccia and bearer of a strongly inspirational

and international aesthetic dimension, and

Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, designers of top

sellers such as 100 Righe 1000 Righe and

d’avant-garde : choisir une approche créative

inspirée à l’art et à la sculpture pour dessiner des

radiateur et des chauffe-lingettes de nouvelle

conception.

Depuis 2004, Caleido a choisi d’impliquer dans

cette recherche quelques uns parmi les meilleurs

designers et architectes au monde.

À partir du premier, James Di Marco, à l’époque

débutant mais déjà capable de créer des modèles

au design raffiné et riche de personnalité

comme River, Stone, Air, présents et appréciés

encore aujourd’hui dans le catalogue Caleido,

au travail avec Karim Rashid en 2011, avec la

création des art radiator Caleido, où la surface

du radiateur devient la toile d’un tableau, jusqu’à

la collaboration avec Giuseppe Bavuso qui,
