Il Rock Cafe è un locale molto noto a
Merano, pub, lounge bar e pizzeria
allo stesso tempo. Abbiamo realizzato
il rivestimento in Corian
®
termo
formato del bancone, che inizialmente
era stato progettato in laccato – una
finitura che presenta problemi di
usura e durata nel tempo. Abbiamo
assemblato in loco la composizione,
incollando i vari elementi con adesivo
sigillante Corian
®
fino a farli fondere
fra loro in modo impeccabile, in
un’unica curva sinuosa che crea
un’atmosfera accogliente e futuristica.

Pub, Lounge Bar und Pizzeria zugleich.
Die von Planit thermogeformte Theke
aus Corian
®
sollte ursprünglich in
Lackversion ausgeführt werden.
Aufgrund der damit verbundenen
Abnutzungsprobleme und geringeren
Wertbeständigkeit ging man
aber davon ab. Der Korpus wurde
vor Ort zusammengebaut und
die Einzelteile mit Corian-Kleber
fugenlos miteinander verbunden. Die
geschmeidig geschwungene Theke
verleiht dem Raum eine einladende
und futuristische Atmosphäre.
The Rock Cafe is a very well know
spot in Merano: pub, lounge bar and
pizzeria all rolled into one. Planit
finished the counter in thermoformed
Corian
®
, initially designed in
lacquered wood – a finish that
would not have stood up to use. We
assembled the pieces in loco, gluing
the parts together with a special
Corian
®
sealant to conceal all of the
joints. The result is a unique sinuous
curve that creates an inviting and
futuristic atmosphere.
