L’Osservatorio Astronomico Val
di Fiemme nasce con l’intento di
avvicinare più persone possibili alle
meraviglie dell’universo. Abbiamo
collaborato con l’architetta
Francesca Oss per realizzare l’arredo
della sala conferenze, creando sinuosi
monoliti bianchi in Corian
®
Glacier
White. I due banchi, con struttura in
multistrato, fungono sia da banco
reception sia da tavolo per il relatore
che presiede le sedute informative.
Grazie alla termo formabilità di
Corian
®
, è stato possibile rivestirli
interamente, senza giunzioni visibili.
Die Sternwarte Val di Fiemme
(Fleimstal) wurde so konzipiert,
dass möglichst vielen Menschen
die Wunder des Weltalls präsentiert
werden können. Gemeinsam mit der
Architektin Francesca Oss haben wir
die Einrichtung des Konferenzraumes
gestaltet und dafür geschwungene
weiße Monolithen aus Corian
®
Glacier
White geschaffen. Die beiden Theken
in Mehrschicht-Bauweise dienen
sowohl als Empfangstisch als auch als
Rednerpult während der Vorträge.
Die Thermo-Formbarkeit von Corian
®
ermöglichte deren vollständige und
für das Auge nahtfreie Verkleidung.
The Val di Fiemme Astronomical
Observatory was created to help as
many people as possible learn about
the wonders of the universe. We
worked with the architect Francesca
Oss to furnish the lecture room with
sinuous white monoliths in Corian
®
Glacier White. The two desks, with
a plywood substructure, double
as reception desks or tables for
lecturers. The thermoformability of
Corian
®
made it possible to clad them
entirely with this material and render
any joints invisible.
