A straightforward, practical person with a strong entrepreneurial spirit: Nello Comparato, father of the company that bears
his name, founded the Comparato Nello S.a.s. (later turned into S.r.l. in 1990) as a natural industrial enterprise resulting from
his well-proven handcraft in the thermohydraulic field. After a precious and important industrial patent was granted to the
"DIASOL”, an iron Venturi ejector, Comparato had the chance of standing out on the market with an innovative product
which has been the hallmark of a new and more up-to-date plant engineering, enabling the construction of streamlined
and efficient horizontal distribution systems. A single pipe-line servicing several heating appliances. In the beginning it was
really hard! In a small workshop, equipped with modern machineries bought with great sacrifices, ideas, projects and
innovations were shaped and periodically submitted to the already faithful customers, and acknowledged with growing
enthusiasm by the market. We are proud to remind how, at the time, we already upheld with great determination the idea
of “MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMIC SELF SUFFICIENCY” referred to a centralized system: an attitude which was
against the main current trend of that period.
The “ENERGY SAVING AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY” principles were anticipated in a leaflet dated 1971, which
slogan was “ENERGY IS PRECIOUS”.
Today, 40 years after, these subjects we strongly stood up for are topical at last!
The success of "DIASOL" for monopipe systems, laid the basis for the realization of other innovative products, such as moto-
rised zone valves, which still represent the “core business” of this company.
All the products were sold with the
HYDROTHERMAL DEVICES: they already were well-known in the domestic
market and started to be highly regarded abroad, too.
Starting in the mid-sixties, after the transfer in the new headquarters, the company strengthened its "industrial
imprint”, integrating the production with the then-called “CONTER ZONE BOX”, with the aim of distributing the heat
by sharing costs according to the duration of use of the system measured by the “hour-meter”. Afterwards, we intro-
duced the heat meters, changing from a quantification of the consumptions based on time to a more correct one,
based on the amount of used energy.
The entry into society of the sons, Roberto and Paolo, set up a manage-
ment with a great team spirit, which principles are still those of the foun-
der: enthusiasm, determination and respect. Respect for our Clients, our
employees and our collaborators, with whom we share our success.
Respect for our suppliers, who are precious partners when we make our choi-
ces. Respect for our competitors and for the market, which constantly spur us
to improve ourselves.
Confident of the expertise we developed thanks to the zone boxes, at the end
of the nineties we were the first ones to introduce on the market the "satelli-
te modules", an unceasingly growing range of products “born” from the
Diatech, which is still covered by patent. That is why we are so proud to see
how, nowadays, the market trends and the most recent regulations are evi-
dence of the value of the original idea. This is a really topical subject today,
and we are already steering towards new challenges in this framework.
We look ahead with optimism, because we hope that the grandchildren and
the next generations will soon be part of this team to face together the key
challenges of globalization, with the same enthusiasm of the past.
From Carcare..to Ferrania. After more than 40 years of growth and develop-
ment, our ideas needed more space! The Head Office and the Production
department joined in one single industrial site located in a place with a very
high chance of development. The New Factory allows a better information
flow among Production department, Technical Offices and R&D. The whole
activity is supported by avant-garde machinery and facilities.
