La più antica espressione del Cotto
Imprunetino, il mattone, sta tornando
alla ribalta come ottimo strumento
estetico e funzionale per l’arredo
urbano. Usato per la pavimentazione di
piazze, strade, scalinate e come motivo
ornamentale nei giardini, continua a
garantire una durata “secolare”, per le
proprie qualità di durezza, antigelività e
inalterabilità nel tempo, ma è apprezzato
anche per un colore caldo e rosato.

aus Impruneta, kommt als ideales
städtebauliches Element in Funktionalität
und Schönheit wieder in Mode. Er
wird vor allem fuer die Pflasterung von
Plätzen, Strassen und Treppen und als
verzierendes Motiv in Gärten eingesetzt
und garantiert nach wie vor auf Grund
seiner hervorragenden Eingenschaften
jahrhundertelange Dauer. Auch auf
Grund seiner wärmespendenden Farbe
wird dieser Cotto besonders geschätzt.
Bricks, which were the original form
of Impruneta Terracotta, are coming
to the forefront as an excellent
esthetic, functional instrument for town
furnishings. Used for the paving of
plazas, streets, steps, and to decorate
gardens, they continue to be hard-
wearning. Bricks are also appreciated
on account of their warm, rose color.
L’expression la plus ancienne du Cotto
de l’Impruneta, la brique, connaît
actuellement un retour en force en tant
qu’excellent instrument esthétique et
fonctionnel pour la décoration urbaine
et le pavage de places, de routes
et d’escaliers et en tant que motif
ornemental dans les jardins. Aujourd’hui
encore elle garantit une durée “éternelle”
