er and corrosion, coupled with its pliability, has made it possible t

create precise, intricate and

fluid-like forms that closely resembl

the original sketches of each design and stand the test of time.

While the detail of the metalwork is the focal point of the Thorvald,

teak introduces an additional layer of warmth to Ville and the ter

-

race designs of the RFH collection, bringing a softer character to

their otherwise bold forms. A natural and robust material, teak ages

over time, fading to a graceful silver patina without compromising

the strength or integrity of the design. The Ville chairs’ seat and

backrest, reminiscent of a classic textile furniture webbing, hav

e

been adapted to outdoor environments through the intentional us

e

of polyester – a fabric which intuitively moulds to the individual’

s

body and can withstand the elements. Every unique composition o

f

materials found throughout our outdoor collections has been care

-

fully crafted with durability and long-term wear in mind.
