Space Copenhagen’s Thorvald series is a profoundly versatile

assembly of forms that pays homage to Copenhagen’s neoclassica

artist and sculptor, Bertel Thorvaldsen, and the motifs of hi

eponymous museum. Described by Space Copenhagen as “a

invitation to enjoy a pause, conversation, drink, or a meal

under the open sky”, each piece reflects the designers’ intuitiv

understanding of how objects evoke emotions. Now, six mor

pieces join the ever-growing family: two coffee tables, a dinin

table, two benches and a lounge sofa – each specially designed for

outdoor use. An ensemble of sculptural silhouettes, the curated

colour palette of Warm Black, Bronze Green or Ivory allows

Thorvald to effortlessly intermingle with its surroundings.
