Tove Kindt-Larsen

Tove Kindt-Larsen (1906-1994) was one of Denmark’s most prominent designers

from the 1930s to the 1960s. Tove was trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine

Arts in Copenhagen and had a high sense of quality and an appreciation of current

trends.

Many of Tove Kindt-Larsen’s designs were inspired by shapes found in nature, and

she is especially known for her work within architecture, silverware, textiles, and for

the pioneering work she did with rattan.
