Chill & Hanging Egg

The Chill lounge chair was designed by Nanna Ditzel in the late summer of 1961 and

was the first piece of furniture Nanna Ditzel created after her husband’s death earlier

same year. The chair combines an organic design language with minimalistic features,

and visibly continues the innovative design aesthetic that also characterized the couple’s

furniture. Most known is their Hanging Egg chair that has enjoyed praise worldwide ever

since the distinctive sculptural shape was created by Nanna & Jørgen Ditzel in 1959.
