Quando la tecnologia si unisce alla tradizione nascono

oggetti che varcano nuovi confini. È stato scelto un filato

di nuova generazione, studiato per essere resistente

all’usura e alla luce, agli agenti atmosferici e batterici. Le

sue performances sono state lavorate su telai tradizionali,

per ottenere ciò che solo la lavorazione manuale può dare:

compattezza, elasticità, flessibilità ideali. Ecco che nasce

un tappeto adatto per esterni, interni e zone benessere,

piacevole da sentire e guardare.

La nuova tessitura, O Sole Mio Corteccia, associa

un’aumentata resistenza all’usura ad una lavorazione a

trama aperta con tagli asimmetrici, che ricorda le superfici

naturalmente irregolari delle cortecce d’albero. Realizzato

con moduli di larghezza 100 cm che rendono possibile

qualsiasi personalizzazione.

When technology joins tradition, the results can often

break new ground. A new generation yarn was selected

for the rug; it has been developed to resist wear and

tear, fading in sunlight, damage by atmospheric agents

and bacterial contamination. The yarn has been woven on

traditional looms to achieve a product with properties only

possible through skilled handcrafting: firmness, solidity,

elasticity, optimal versatility. This rug is suitable for use

indoors, outdoors and in wellness facilities; it is delightful

to touch and an aesthetic feast for the eyes.

The new weaving, O Sole Mio Corteccia, has increased

resistance to wear and tear. The asymmetric textural

grooves in the weave resemble the naturally irregular

bark of a tree. Individual units of width 100 cm can be

combined to produce an infinity of custom arrangements.
