Sebastian Herkner relies on traditional techniques for refining the design of the

ames’»manta« blankets. In the workshop the blankets are edged right round in

an ornamental stitch. Moreover, on request the wool can be fluffed using the

»cardo« to achieve an even more snuggly soft texture.

Für den Entwurf der »manta« Decken für ames setzt Sebastian Herkner traditio-

nelle Veredelungstechniken ein. Die Decken werden in der Manufaktur rundum

mit Zierstich gekettelt. Darüber hinaus wird optional durch das Aufrauen der

Wolle mit dem »Cardo« eine noch flauschigere Oberfläche erzielt.
