Periodic maintenance is essential to keep the appliance efficient, safe and reliable over time. This may b

carried out periodically by the Technical Assistance Service, which is technically qualified and has original

spare parts available where necessary.

7.1 CLEANIN

The only cleaning operations required by the user are those relating to the remote control, front panel and

mesh filter

.

• To clean the external surface of the air conditioner use a soft cloth dampened with water

.

• To clean the mesh

fi lter

:

• remove the intake grille by lifting it;

• remove any dust using a vacuum cleaner;

• wash with lukewarm water (MAX 40°) and a neutral detergent

;

• rinse thoroughly and leave to dry in the shade

.

7.2 SHUTDOWN FOR LONG PERIODS

If the appliance is not used for a long period, carry out the following operations

:

• activate the unit with the ventilation function

;

• select maximum speed

;

• leave the unit operating for six hours;

• switch off the unit using the control panel or remote control

;

• set the main switch to “OFF”.
