exteriors, but we would recommend

filling the holes to minimise the

formation of mould.

KITCHEN COUNTERTOPS

Imperiale is beautiful as a

countertop, but it absolutely

must be treated with a water-oil

repelling treatment. There is no

treatment on the market which

unequivocally seals natural stone,

so it is important to wipe up spills

before they have time to penetrate

the stone. We would also strongly

recommend filling the holes so that

liquids and food residue cannot

accumulate in them.

Imperiale è perfetto anche come

piano da cucina ma necessita di un

accurato trattamento idro-oleo-

repellente. Non esiste prodotto sul

mercato che protegga totalmente

la pietra per cui è importante

rimuovere qualsiasi liquido dalla

superficie il prima possibile.

your Imperiale maintains its

sheen for many years.

porous material and, like

most natural stones, it

is sensitive to acids so

we recommend that a

cutting board is used in the

kitchen, rather than cutting

food directly on the stone

surface. It must be well

sealed and any spills wiped

up quickly.
