The process which

creates our Stone

Tatami tiles is

designed to preserve

the natural aesthetic

qualities of the stone.

As a result of this,

the tiles may not be

perfectly identical,

however this non-

uniformity is intrinsic

both to the Stone

Tatami texture and the

natural stone itself.

We also provide

honed tiles cut to the

same dimensions

as Stone Tatami so

that the fluidity of

the lines remains

uncompromised.

Laying pattern

Stone Tatami can be used for both floor and wall

surfaces.

It can be combined with a border in honed tiles

to replicate the characteristics of the original

original Japanese matting, offering plenty of

scope for creating bespoke patterns such as the

one below which was specifically designed by

Piero Lissoni and which can be repeated as many

times as required to cover any surface.

Where Stone Tatami is laid using only the textured

tiles, ie without a honed border, it can be installed in

the following ways:

a contrasto levigata o meno.

Dona la massima libertà progettuale per la

creazione del pattern preferito. Riportiamo di

seguito un esempio di riferimento proposto dal

suo stesso creatore Piero Lissoni.

I due pattern possono essere combinati liberamente

per ricoprire l’intera superficie di progetto.

Stone Tatami può essere posato anche senza
