Wind is the archetype of the bookcase in the new
interpretation by Rimadesio: a modular system combining
aesthetic lightness and technological innovation.
The focus of the project, entirely in aluminium, is repre-
sented by the union between extruded shelves and
die-casting uprights, in central and terminal versions.
Vertical modularity of Wind is obtained by the connec-
tion of nylon fibre joints inserted into the uprights which
grant the maximum stability. Closing element of each
composition is the laminated lacquered mdf top, covered
by a double aluminium plate.

nella nuova interpretazione
Rimadesio: un sistema modulare
che coniuga leggerezza estetica
e innovazione tecnologica. Il fulcro
del progetto, interamente in
alluminio, è rappresentato dall’u-
nione fra ripiani estrusi e montanti
in pressofusione, in versione cen-
trale e terminale. La componibilità
verticale di Wind avviene tramite
giunti di collegamento in nylon
fibra che si innestano nei mon-
tanti e garantiscono la massima
stabilità. Elemento terminale di
ogni composizione è il top laccato
e stratificato in mdf rivestito
da una doppia lastra di alluminio.
Wind steht für den neuen Archetyp
der Interpretation von Rimadesio:
ein modulares System, welches
ästhetische Leichtigkeit und
technologische Innovation mit-
einander vereint. Im Mittelpunkt
des Projekts steht die Einzigartig-
keit der Verbindung aus strang-
gepressten Profilen der Fachböden
und dem aus Aluminiumdruck
gegossenen Pfosten. Sowohl
in der vertikalen als auch der
horizontalen.
Die vertikale Komposition von
Wind erfolgt durch Verbindungs-
stücke aus Nylonfaser direkt
in den Pfosten, die auch für ma-
ximale Stabilität steht.
Jede Komposition schließt mit
einem aluminiumbezogenem
lackiertem Mdf-Sperrholz ab.

montants en moulage d’aluminium
en version centrale ou terminale.
La modularité verticale de Wind
s’effectue par les jonctions de
connexion en fibre de nylon qui
s’intégrent dans les montants, en
assurant une stabilité maximale.
L’élément final de chaque com-
position est le dessus, laqué
et stratifié en mdf, revêtu par un
double placage d’aluminium.

montantes y garantizan la máxima
estabilidad. Elemento terminal
de cada composición es el top
lacado estratificado en mdf
chapado por una hoja doble de
aluminio.
