>B< Press Solar fittings are identified by a green coloured FKM

O-ring. Suitable for use with copper tube to EN 1057 (R250 or R290)

and available in sizes 15-28mm. Tested and approved by SPF

(Solartechnik Prüing Forschung) in Switzerland. Fittings are suitable

for continuous operating temperatures up to 140°C and short-term

excursions up to 230°C. Suitable for applications to -20°C and

working pressures up to 10 bar.

Leak before press feature

Conex Bänninger has developed a unique leak before press feature,

a specially designed FKM O-ring. It has a reduced section in two

positions causing leaks at low pressures when not pressed (from

0.1 to 5.0 bar). When the fitting is pressed, the O-ring material

compresses, filling the gaps, securing a leak-free path. Therefore

there is no need to go to full test pressure to check that all fittings

have been pressed.
