Who are we

Conex Bänninger specialises in the design,

manufacture and distribution of plumbing fittings

and valves. For over 100 years, Conex Bänninger have produced

products that offer innovative and versatile jointing solutions. Our

reputation for quality products is backed by excellent customer

found in domestic, commercial, industrial, air condition, refrigeration

and ship building application all over the world.

What we do

In the UK, a wide variety of connecting technologies including End

Feed, Compression, Threaded, Crimp, Solder Ring and Push-Fit are

offered under the Conex Bänninger name.

Quality

IBP is an ISO 9001 Quality assured company registered with the

BSI. IBP has approvals from numerous national and international

bodies including DVGW, KIWA, GASTEC, WRAS and AENOR, plus

many well-know others. The majority of Conex B

änninger fittings are

covered by the B.S.I. Kitemark under Licence No. KM 07283.

Health and Safety

It is the responsibility of the end user to ensure that all adequate

protection is available when required and the necessary information

regarding Health and Safety Regulations is adhered to. Copper and

copper alloy fittings are considered non-hazardous under normal

circumstances.

DZR Fittings

Many of Conex Bänninger’s fittings are available in dezincification

resistance (DZR) brass or as dezincification immune red brass.

Dezincification of ordinary duplex brass fittings may occur under

certain water supply conditions. The Conex Bänninger DZR range of

fittings can safely be used in these circumstances. DZR fittings are

marked with the CRsymbol, recognised by the Water Industry and

now specified in British & European Standards as a mark

denoting materials of assessed capability

of resistance.
