The Modernist, cubically-configured Langelinie

Pavilion was built by architects Eva and Nils

Koppel in the 1950s, located only a stone’s throw

from the iconic Little Mermaid statue on Copen-

hagen’s waterfront. The structure replaces two

preceding, now demolished, pavilions, the firs

inaugurated during the mid-1880s and the second

in the early 1900s. Surrounded by a swath

e

of water and an expansive skyline, the outdoor

terrace has been designed by the &Tradition team

to include pieces from both the Thorvald and

Ville collections.
