Seoul, The Waterhouse reimagines a traditional

Korean hanok as a serene dwelling. The 89m²

house is orientated around a tranquil inner court-

yard that provides an anchoring sense of spatial

clarity.

Rather than erasing the past, the original

structure, including slanted century-old pillars,

has been preserved. A combination of subtle

architectural changes and a selection of classic

and contemporary designs from &Tradition

placed throughout bring the space into th
