REGULATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RAISED FLOORS - There are currently no regulations governing raised floors for outdoor use only. The only pertinent regulation is UNI EN 12825 “raised flooring” of August 2001
,
the exclusive
field of application of which is “raised
floors for which the main use contemplated is internal finishings of buildings”. With reference to this regulation, the TH2 system is able to comply with the performance requisites
set out in the table. Although the “Dynamic load – hard object impact” test reproduces unlikely situations, such as the fall of a 4,.5 kg weight from a height of 60 cm, EnergieKer recommends carefully evaluating the type and height of
the structure, based on the intended use, and that the raised
floor should have a maximum height of 10 cm.
