DAYSTAK
Robin Day
The Daystak chair holds a significant place in
Day's design history. Standing as one of his
earliest creations for British furniture company
Hille, it was envisaged in 1951, shortly after
he and Clive Latimer won first place in the
storage unit category in the International Low-
Cost Furniture competition, organised by
MoMA, New York in 1948.
