• Samples and catalogues are not binding with regards to colour, tone, installation type and grout. ETRURIA design S.r.l. reserves the right to make any and all necessary aesthetic, technical, colour or size modifications in order to enhance use and aesthetic
value, and may suspend the production cycle at any moment without notice. Such instances may not be subject to claim by the client.
• All the stated measurements (thickness, format. etc.) are to be considered “nominal”: all the products are therefore provided with dimensions that match normal processing tolerances and in accordance with applicable regulations.
• ETRURIA design products carry the CE MARKING under EN 14411. For further information, refer to www.etruriadesign.it
• Technical certifications available online on www.etruriadesign.it.
• Every order from ETRURIA design is individually made to order, therefore requests for cancellations, changes or returns will not be accepted in any circumstances, either for orders of materials in process or already delivered.
• It is absolutely essential to protect the material after installation to prevent abrasion or breakage during subsequent finishing work.
WALL TILE: VICTORIA, ART DÉCO and CONCETTO SPAZIALE
• Due to the artisan production techniques and hand glazing, variations in shade are normal in these products and should be considered as value-added and not defect.
• In consideration of the above, and with regard to trims (skirtings, mouldings, coves, etc.), the material should be arranged in place before laying, with the pieces placed in order from lightest to darkest.
• For technical reasons linked to the type of production process, shades cannot be guaranteed to match in additional orders. Every order from ETRURIA design is made to order, so any additional order, even though made on the basis of reference samples,
may feature differences in tone.
• To achieve the splendid colours of the ETRURIA design collections, it’s necessary to use glazes with chemical characteristics which make effects that constitute intrinsic characteristics of the products (slight pitting, crazing, dotting, differences on tone)
inevitable. Therefore, they cannot be considered defects or faults of the product. Moreover, each colour of the same collection produced on different supports may present a slight difference in tonality.
• The wall tiles are a set of different ceramic materials that must be manufactured in very different ways (dry pressed with steel moulds, wet pressed with plaster moulds, casting in plaster moulds, drawing with steel masks). Moreover, the handcrafted
production that makes each piece a unique one involves differences in dimensions and smoothness of products. In view of this, to ensure good aesthetics and functional results the products must be installed with a minimum 1,5 mm joint.
• For Craquelé (crackle) products, we recommend to use colourless fine-grain adhesives and sealants for laying and grouting.
FLOOR TILE: HEX and XXS collection
• To obtain a perfect aesthetic effect with ETRURIA design flooring, it is advisable to lay the tiles mixing them between different boxes and use a minimum 3 mm joint between them.

FINAL POST-LAYING CLEANING
After laying the tiles, following all the rules of professional workmanship, it is important to proceed with the first special cleaning, which must be carried outwhile the grouting mix is still wet, when the residues, therefore, are still easy to remove. After
slightly dampening the wall covering and/or flooring, remove everything with a damp sponge. This serves the dual purpose of cleaning and, at the same time, smoothing off and levelling the laying joint perfectly. Now, rinse several times with clean water
until the tiles are perfectly clean.
END-OF-JOB CLEANING PRODUCTS
If you intend to use products for cleaning up and coating the tiling at the end of the job, remember never to use acidic detergents. Clean the surface by washing it with a water solution obtained by diluting FILACLEANER or Faber WAX REMOVER. Use a
sponge or a white pad for the first wash, then rinse thoroughly with water.
STAIN PROTECTION TREATMENT
Once the surface is dry, brush on a coat of Fila MP/90 or Faber CRAQUELÉ PROTECTOR. Apply the product a little at a time, making sure you spread it evenly and well. After applying the primer, wait 4-6 hours before removing the surplus that has formed
using either a dry cloth or, at the most, one that has been damped.
DAILY CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
We strongly advise against the use of harsh products such as acids and other substances or abrasive tools (lime scale removal products, abrasive sponges, etc.) for the daily cleaning of Craquelé (crackle) ceramic tiles. Likewise, we recommend you use the
standard neutral-based products available in the shops. Please be informed that if Craquelé (crackle) tiles come into contact with dirty or greasy substances or materials, the crackle effect on the surface could be ruined.
